The main goal in the game Rust is to survive wipe, having built a reliable base, which still requires a lot of farming resources. Roughly speaking, resource farming continues throughout the entire wipe - it is impossible in a couple of days to get a bunch of resources that will last until the end of even a 7-day wipe. Although, in the later days of the wipe, the method of extracting resources is slightly different. If the first days of the wipe players go with picks and frail trunks, extracting resources from rocks, simultaneously knocking out some resources from other players who were killed during farming, then in the later days of the wipe, resource extraction is mainly carried out through raids. This article is dedicated to them.

How many hits are needed to destroy a tank?
Typically, it takes six accurate hits on a tank to destroy it. Please note that other server players may also come running to attack the same tank. To avoid this unpleasant situation and not be left with nothing, develop a strategy and get the job done quickly.
Of course, to prevent such “helpers” from killing you, it would be great if you had a partner, your ally, covering you. Do not rush to rejoice if no one came to you in the process of fighting the tank. This can happen after a certain period of time. You need to be ready for this at any second. There are bushes on the territory of the cosmodrome; you can hide in them while waiting for “guests”. There is no point in chasing after the boxes as soon as the fire goes out.

How to blow up a tank in Rust using C4
You can do this from the roof of the building under which the recycler stands. This is a very convenient position, because the tank drives up close, but does not always hit when shooting. Having discovered the blind spot of a tank, you can easily attach explosives to it, it will explode, and the tank will be destroyed. This is a wonderful and effective way. All it takes is two explosions and the tank is gone.
The return on investment for this event is very encouraging. The tank has MUCH more resources than are needed for two C4s. Sometimes even a machine gun falls out of the tank. But if you are not a very experienced demolitionist, stock up on explosives in reserve (let there be at least five pieces in case of misses). Climb onto the roof of the building and wait for him to reach it. Sometimes you have to wait, but you won't regret it. And don’t forget to prepare a sleeping bag near the cosmodrome.

How to blow up a tank in Rust using rockets
Before you start, make sure you don't die from radiation. Indeed, in this case, you will be forced to go back to the cosmodrome across the entire map. To do this, build a small, neat house near the scene of events that does not attract unnecessary attention. Leave spare clothes, ammunition and medicine in one of the rooms. Be sure to prepare yourself a sleeping bag and leave it in the house.
Your body should be completely covered by clothes and shoes, in addition, put on at least a wooden stack of armor to protect yourself from radiation on the territory of the cosmodrome. Take bandages or first aid kits with extra syringes with you. We recommend taking 20 units of each medication.
Use only regular rockets. They do the most damage. High-speed ones have a poorer ability to destroy, incendiary ones are only suitable for raids on wooden houses. You need to shoot proactively, because the grenade launcher does not fire such rockets, but spits. For more accurate shooting, we recommend aiming slightly higher than the target, setting a flight path that looks like a parabola.
In case of misses, you need to have shells in reserve, because while you are shooting, time will pass, and the resource may suddenly run out, the situation is not pleasant. We suggest you take a position ABOVE the tank. The best place is the building located on the right side of the tallest structure, if you enter from the main entrance. On the roof of such a building you can hide behind iron fences.
The tank will periodically drive up to this fence. Wait for him to do this and start shooting. It’s better not to aim for a long time: fire a shell and immediately hide. If you hit a tank, it will become clear by the characteristic sound.

Rocket Launcher in the game Rust
The rocket launcher is the only weapon in the game that fires rockets, no matter how strange it may sound. A total of one rocket fits into the rocket launcher.
Rocket launcher in hands
Missiles are divided into 3 types:
The Rocket is the simplest rocket that does the most damage. Found in the following containers: helicopter box - 15%, locked box - 6%. The cost of studying on a special table is 125 units of scrap metal . Crafting requires a workbench of the third level , and the following resources for it: 2 metal pipes, 150 units of gunpowder, 10 units of explosive.
A high-speed rocket is a faster rocket than a regular one. Has reduced damage to buildings, but flies further and faster. The best choice for shooting at players, although using a rocket launcher in PVP means not respecting your opponent at all. Found in the following containers: box from a tank – 16%, box from a helicopter – 9%. The study will cost you 125 scrap metal. When crafting, you will need a workbench of the second level or higher, as well as the following resources: 1 metal pipe, 100 units of gunpowder.
Incendiary rocket - sets fire to a small area around the point of explosion. Not bad for destroying both automatic turrets and air defenses . Found in the following containers: box from a tank – 16%, box from a helicopter – 9%. The study will cost you 125 scrap metal. When crafting, you will need a workbench of the second level or higher, and to it 2 more pipes , 250 units of gunpowder , 250 units of low-quality fuel and 1 explosive .
The rocket launcher is ideal for destroying a tank. We advise you to read the separate material on the tank , which tells you how to kill a rast tank, how many missiles are needed for a rast tank.
Standard rocket launcher sight
Reload time – 6 seconds. Therefore, in a minute, at best, you will fire 10 missiles.
Some players use the "Multiple Rocket Launchers" tactic. What is the essence - a salvo of several rocket launchers is fired at a time by one player. That is, the player takes 2 or more rocket launchers, loads them, enters the line of fire and begins firing. He fired from one rocket launcher and immediately switched to another. Honestly, I don’t understand the essence of this tactic, because the time it takes is the same in any case.
It is worth noting that the rocket launcher can cause damage to several buildings at once. Let's say you assume that there is loot behind one of the four walls. Just shoot at the junction of these very walls. This way you will deal equal damage to 4 building blocks.

False door
Very often houses are raided on the doors. Most often, raiders are attracted to sheet metal doors. I suggest you make a door that only has a shotgun trap behind it. But remember, not all raiders immediately fly through the door they just blew up.
False door
An example of a fake door. One door leads into the house, the other hides traps and shotguns. There are actually a lot of protection options, and if you don’t know exactly how to protect your house, we advise you to look at ready-made rust house plans on our website, as well as read various instructions and guides from players who have played thousands of hours in Rust.
