The best recipe for cooking broccoli for the winter

Broccoli appeared relatively recently in our country. If you compare it with white cabbage, for example. And of course, they also began to prepare it for the winter. A unique vegetable with its own taste. This kind of cabbage is always in great demand.

For this you need a good recipe. This is what I am sharing with you. It is also suitable for any cauliflower.

List of products that we will need:

  • Broccoli (cauliflower) - 300-400 grams
  • Water - 1.5 liters
  • Carrots - 1-2 pieces
  • Garlic - 5-6 cloves
  • Granulated sugar - 8 tablespoons
  • Table salt - 4 tablespoons
  • Bay leaf - 4-5 pieces
  • Black pepper - 14-15 pieces
  • Vinegar 9% - 1 glass
  • Dill greens - 1 bunch
  • Sunflower oil - 1 cup

Preparation:

1.First of all, we need to boil the water. We put the fire on and wait for it to boil. In the meantime, we'll get to the broccoli. It needs to be cut into inflorescences. We do this carefully. Before this, of course, you need to wash them. We throw away the rest.

If you think the inflorescence is large, you can cut it in half.

2. Next, cut the peeled carrots. Cut it however you like. You can use it in rings, half rings or slices. We will cut into half rings

Then we cut the garlic or put it through a crush. Add garlic and carrots to broccoli.

For the marinade:

  • Vinegar - 1 tsp;
  • Salt - 1 tbsp;
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp;
  • Bay leaf - 3 pcs.;
  • Allspice in the form of peas - 5 pcs.;
  • Black pepper in the form of peas - 5 pcs.

Preparation:

  1. Boil water.
  2. Peel the onion and cut it randomly, carrots into cubes, peppers into strips, cut broccoli into small florets.
  3. Pre-sterilize the jars and put vegetables in them, pour boiling water over them. After five minutes, drain all the water.
  4. Prepare the marinade by boiling water with salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar and bay leaf.
  5. Pour the marinade into jars with vegetables to the top and roll them under the lids. Place the jars upside down under a blanket to brew.

  • Bay leaf - 4 pieces
  • Allspice and black pepper

  • Beetroot - 1 medium

For marinade per 1 liter of water:

  • Vinegar - 10 grams
  • Sugar - 150 grams

2. Now let's prepare other products. We will cut the carrots into cubes. Cut the onion into half rings. Beets into thin slices.

Next, fill the jars with this marinade. And just cover the top with a lid. We leave it in this state for two days . And the cabbage is ready.

  • 1 liter of water;
  • 4 tbsp. l. salt;
  • 200 g sunflower oil;
  • 1 tbsp. l. vinegar (9%).

Step-by-step instruction

Cooking technique:

  1. Divide the head of cabbage into inflorescences, rinse thoroughly and dry (remove damaged fragments).
  2. Cut carrots into cubes or rings.
  3. Chop the dill.
  4. Pass the garlic through a press.
  5. Prepare jars and lids: rinse and sterilize.
  6. Mix cabbage, garlic, carrots and herbs in one container, then place them in jars.
  7. Place sugar, butter, salt and spices in a saucepan with water.
  8. Boil for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Finally add acetic acid.
  10. Pour boiling marinade into jars of vegetables and herbs and tighten.

The cooled pieces are left for 2 days in a dark place at room temperature, and then placed in the refrigerator or taken to the basement for permanent storage.
