Take 2 pieces, pour boiling water over them, let it brew for two hours. Take half a glass 3-4 times a day.

This is a tasty folk remedy for cough. To prepare, take 0.5 liters of milk, add 4-5 washed dried fruits. The mixture is brought to a boil and kept on low heat for 30 minutes.

The liquid turns brownish. It is drunk warm. Before use, knead the mass to a puree.

Contraindications

Despite their rich chemical composition, sweet fruits can harm the body. The fruit is not recommended for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic pathology, since excess fiber can provoke the development of inflammatory processes.

  • gout;
  • impaired carbohydrate tolerance;
  • obesity.

The average daily consumption of dried figs for an adult is 50 g, for a child – 30 g. An overdose will lead to upset stool and other adverse reactions of the body.

What is inside?

When dried, figs retain many of their properties. Compared to fresh, the nutritional value increases. It contains more sugar, dietary fiber, and phytonutrients. Also present:
